LEAN SIX SIGMA

01. Lean VSM – Mapping the flow of value creation

VSM is a special type of process flowchart based on the principles of the LEAN SIX SIGMA concept (approach to improving efficiency and adding value). The main purpose of this approach is to show and improve the flow of information and resources, identify and link all activities related to system improvement, enable organizations to identify waste-losses (from the process) and define plans for their elimination. It also includes activities for processing data from the customer and defining actions to transform the product on the way to the customer.

02. Lean Six Sigma, YB (yellow belt)

LEAN SIX SIGMA is essentially a SIX SIGMA method with elements of the LEAN method involved (trend over the last couple of years), with SIX SIGMA being the most comprehensive problem-solving methodology. Made in MOTOROLA Corporation, it covers almost all quality tools, but at the same time very demanding statistical methods to prove cause-and-effect relationships, with established DMAIC stages, with skill ranking in this method modeled on martial arts (YB yellow belt, GB green belt, BB black belt).

The goal is to become familiar with and acquire the skill to participate in the implementation of the LEAN SIX SIGMA method in your own organization. LEAN SIX SIGMA BB (black belt) is based on the improvement of business processes.

05. KAIZEN – Continuous process improvement

KAIZEN is a concept of continuous business improvement, based on the application of multiple techniques, methods, and tools, based on positive practice. It is applied in all areas and at all levels, regardless of the industry. The companies that implement the KaiZen approach achieve top results. The course is based on a synthesis of theoretical (30%) and practical (70%) elements, with the aim of transferring practical knowledge and skills to students. The specific goal of the training is for the participants to apply Kaizen tools and techniques on real examples; they are trained to continuously improve the management and business system of the organization as a whole and to lead the project of establishing the KaiZen approach and culture in the organization.
